OOPS!!

I can't believe that I haven't been on here in this long. I haven't written a thing. I've been thinking alot. That's always dangerous. I've used an apostrophe in every sentence so far in this blog. Don't you think that's wierd?

Anyway, I hope all is well wuth everyone! I wont bore you with all the details of my life yet. Let us just say that wuith the holidays approaching and family and good friends visiting, calling and so on, I have gotten lost in the shuffle. I mean that, I have gotten lost in the shuffle. I must really mean that i was lost in the shuffle, I've said it three times.

I have not trained since my last post! I feel like a sloth! I have worked, taken care of my son who was sick for a week. He is better know. Back to his oldself. this is the first time hes ever been ill. It wasnt horrible, but it made him just lie around. E never just lies around. I called the doctor everyday asking questions to make sure I was doing everything I could do. they said we had to wait it out. So we did. Now E is better.

So between work, E, E2, work, work and oh yeah work, things have been strange. The best thing is that a my best friend is in town. This person is a lifesaver. I hope she is around forever. Now that those facts have come out, it is time to stop detraining. I travel for Christmas so Saturday will be my first ride in awhile. Sunday, my first run. Monday run. Back on track for the holidays leading into the New Year. I am going to try and post during the trip, but I do not have a laptop, unless I get the Macbook Pro. Please Santa, I have been a good boy. Ask my friend JC.

So to al of you out there...

Merry Christmas and a safe and joyous New Year!!

I was starting to feel a bit betrayed/miffed ... checking your blog every day (OK, almost every day) and nothing.
I'll forgive you this once.
I remember when my kids were little, balancing life/workouts was really tough. It's still tough now that they're older but not as bad. I know many people in triathon who have had to put training and racing on hold for sometimes years because of the kids. It's worth it though don't you think?
How old are your kids?
